NUCLEUS EXPANDS DIALUP MODEM SERVICE IN ALBERTA
Nucleus Information Service Inc. ("Nucleus") has expanded its dialup modem service in Alberta. All Nucleus customers can now dial local phone numbers in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Fort McMurray.
"Our modem dialup service continues to grow. The ability to move from place to place and continue to access key Internet features, such as email, is very important to our customers" said Dave Berzins, President of Nucleus. "Nucleus will continue to expand this service throughout Canada in 2004".
Modem dialup service allows customers to use any telephone line to connect to the Internet. Although not high-speed, it is mobile and very robust. Having dialup access phone numbers in multiple locations allows customers to limit long distance charges, and stay connected for longer periods of time. Allowing business customers to access corporate VPN tunnels, and email, makes dialup Internet access a must.
Modem dialup service continues to grow.
